Conservatives Protest Retail Chain After My Pillow Products Are Pulled

Conservative activists protest Bed, Bath and Beyond after the retailer dropped My Pillow products from its stores.

Mrs. Florida 2016 Karyn Turk, a Conservative journalist and commentator, will be among a group of demonstrators at a Boca Raton location on Saturday.

"They're not the only chain to do this. Kohl's has followed suit as well and these big box retailers seem to be in bed with big tech censorship and we're going to be out there spreading the word that this isn't okay with a big majority of America."

She says the products were pulled after My Pillow CEO and Trump supporter Mike Lindell claimed that the presidential election was stolen.

"I've been a victim of cancel culture myself. Americans need to be the ones to speak up against this because this is becoming very reminiscent of Fascist culture in Communism."

Turk says that this should be something everyone fights against, regardless of political party.

"You don't have to be a Conservative to have this be a concern because when they start to go after other people, it could easily be you."

She says what the retailers are doing won't just hurt Mike Lindell, the My Pillow CEO.

"This is a man who's helped numerous families through his drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. He's given 1,500 Americans jobs and he's manufacturing all his jobs in the United States."

Lindell has been very vocal about his support for the former president and said in a video before President Joe Biden's Inauguration that "Donald Trump will be our president for the next four years."

Bed, Bath & Beyond, in a statement, says it's discontinuing "a number of underperforming items and brands."

Saturday's protest begins at 10 a.m. at the Bed, Bath & Beyond located at 1400 C University Commons in Boca Raton.

Here's an excerpt from the press release:

Saturday's protest comes on the heels of a series of conservative censorships from "Big Tech" companies, including Twitter's lifetime ban of President's Trump's account, Apple, Amazon, and Google removing conservative social media site Parler from their services and big-box retailers decision to stop carrying conservative-led brand "My Pillow." Citizens outraged by Big Tech's continual silencing of their voices are encouraged to attend this peaceful protest to support their First Amendment.
