Palm Beach Town Attorney: Trump Is "Bona Fide" Employee Of Mar-a-Lago

It appears as though former President Trump will be allowed to continue residing at his Palm Beach club.

The Palm Beach town attorney says Trump is a "bona fide" employee of Mar-a-Lago. That was the conclusion of John C. Randolph after reviewing a 1993 agreement between the town and the former president.

The comments were made in an email to WPTV.

The attorney also says that under the Palm Beach zoning code, "private clubs may provide living quarters for bona fide employees." The mayor and town council did not object.

Trump has been living at Mar-a-Lago since January, but some residents of Palm Beach had petitioned to force him to move, claiming he was not legally allowed to take up residence at the private club.
