She's been pulled out of storm drains in Delray Beach and Texas and now 43-year old Lyndsey Kennedy faces hit and run charges.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Kennedy left the scene of a crash with injuries and was knowingly driving with a suspended license.

Deputies say her license had been suspended 17 times from 2007 to 2020.

The woman was allegedly driving a Volkswagen Jetta on Monday when she turned into the path of another vehicle along Atlantic Avenue, causing a crash. Investigators say Kennedy and a passenger jumped out of the Volkswagen and ran to a nearby apartment complex. That's where deputies found them.

The passenger, Brandie Gabriel, had visible injuries. That woman told deputies that Kennedy had taken her to a gas station west of Delray Beach and ran from the store claiming to have stolen some beer. She sped off and ran several red lights, according to Gabriel, just before the crash.

Kennedy is being held on $1,000 bond.

Back in March, she had been pulled out of a local storm drain, after claiming she had been there for three weeks. Two months later, Kennedy was pulled from a drain in Texas.

Her family says she has spent some time in a rehab facility.
