MSD Public Safety Commission Talks Ongoing Issues

It's been more than 3 years since the Parkland shooting, but Broward County and the Coral Springs Police Department still haven't figured out a way to make their radio systems work together.

Broward Administrator Bertha Henry says the two sides are due to meet this week.

At today's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Public Safety Commission meeting, officials said that communication breakdown was a major failure in responding to the tragedy.

Ryan Petty, who's daughter Alaina was killed in the tragedy hoped to hear about progress at today's meeting. He and other parents of those lost in the tragedy voicing their frustration at the meeting about how the two sides haven't come to a resolution.
